Flying Lotus & Brainfeeder Radio present… Cosmogramma Special 4/20.

To celebrate 4/20 and the forthcoming album release of ‘Cosmogramma’, Flying Lotus and members of his Brainfeeder crew descend on the Dublab studios for several hours to play some records and make some sounds especially for you. To open the show FlyLo will take you through the chosen cuts from his new LP, out 3rd / 4th May. J Rocc mixes discarded vinyl.

Not so long ago I wrote about the Secondhand Sureshots movie that's premiering soon.

Today Stones Throw Podcast 52 was released. Apparently all the $1 records that ended up not being used in the project landed in J Rocc's hands. Now he put together a 47 minute long mix of obscure (and some not so obscure...) vinyl finds from the dollar bins of LA.

Dublab's Secondhand Sureshots!

It's finally being released!!

"Secondhand Sureshots is a filmed experiment in creative sound recycling. Dublab director Bryan “Morpho” Younce sent beatmakers Daedalus, Nobody, J.Rocc and Ras G on safari into L.A. thrift stores with orders to make new music out of five finds while the cameras filmed the whole process. The result is a mini-documentary about putting new life into old vinyl.  Over 2 hours of footage, music & bonus material."
