So I finally got my hands on a copy of the Wu Tang vs Dubstep releases - a collection remixes/blends by Datisk, Excision, DZ, Stenchman, Evol Intent, etc. Even though "dubrap" is usually not well received by pure rap or dubstep fans, I think this is a solid release. Below are some of my favourites from this album.

Diplo Presents: Free Gucci (Best of The Cold War Mixtapes).

OK it has come this, a post about Gucci Mane...

I don't really like his music, nor do I care much that he's in jail these days.

But Diplo has taken it upon himself to "Free Gucci" and assembled an all star cast of producers to remix Gucci tracks. Besides Diplo himself you'll find remixes by Bird Peterson, Mumdance, Zomby, DZ and Flying Lotus. Definitely worth a listen.
