Erykah Badu feat Lil Wayne - Jump Up In The Air. [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Sounded so far away on the No Ceilings mixtape...
They locked the CEO up
I've always had a thing for this woman and her music.
If you go to her website, there's a trippy teaser clip with a new track playing in the background. It's a bonus web-only Track and called “Jump In The Air” featuring Lil Wayne and Bilal:
Her new album "New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh)" is dropping 30th March 2010 and the guest producer list boasts only the best of the best... Let's see 9th Wonder, James Poyser, Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson, Shafiq Husayn, Karriem Riggins, Ta’Raach, J Dilla, Madlib and Georgia Ann Muldrow.
Can't wait to get this album in my hands!
He's not the dopest MCs, he's not the most innovative. You love him or you hate him...
But if you like him or not, he's the most prolific "superstar" in the rap game. No one is featured on more tracks, no one records more music than him. I didn't care for him at all, even during the Carter 3 times. He was just another rapper with too much money and a southern flow. But then I watched the Carter Documentary, which shows his up and downs during the tour for his Carter 3 album. It was by no means a glorification, like so many documentaries are. Hell, Wayne even pulled his support for the movie after seeing it. But with all the egotistic and sad things about him in there, it mainly showed one thing: He lives for his music and you have to respect him for that!! If HipHop has a rockstar, then his name is Lil Wayne. The "Nino Brown Story" is a bit flat compared to "The Carter Documentary" and was shot around the time he released the "No Ceilings" mixtape last year. If you like Lil Wayne you'll enjoy hearing some exclusive tracks/freestyles, lots of bling flashing and behind the scenes footage. If you hate him, don't bother watching the videos below :P
Just a collection of good Hip Hop tunes that made their way through my inbox over the last two weeks. Enjoy!
LMNO & Yann Kesz - Faith Is Fact (mesmerizing...) Lil Boosie – Gin In My Cup (dunno why, but I dig it...)Mos Def - Supermagic (Official video released...)DOWNLOAD: Common - Start The Show (Extended Version/No Hook)

If you have seen Lotus live, then you might have noticed that besides all his future jazz glitch bass sound that's mostly instrumental, there are a few tracks that have vocals. He is now giving away two of his creations - the infamous remixes of Lil Wayne. Worth checking out if you like Lotus' stuff and even if you are a Weezy fan!

This one seems to go beyond the typical ghetto stereotypes "get that money" and "i got shot 9 times". Don't know about you, but I am looking forward to this one!
