"Ras G is a commanding force in Los Angeles and a classic example of what artistry is. Always pushing his production limits and bending his sound to a point that really make you believe he's from outer space. His live shows have a reputation of blowing out sound systems and shaking walls to the point of deterioration. Ras G, a defining figure of a new movement while in a class/world all on his own."
This 29 minute long exclusive set for BTS is only a taste of the destruction he can bring to speakers...
"I use the (S).PACE (P).ROGRAM 303/404 and MPC 2000XL or I even find myself doing little silly things with my array of crazy sound toys and the mic on my cpu recording it in GarageBand and coming up with something otherworldly (...) everywhere i went i heard so much clean and pristine sounding music it left me feeing 2 hear some dirty music so this is the result but its me just feeling it smoking trees @ SPACEBASE or in hotel rooms, airports,on airplanes etc."

"Secondhand Sureshots is a filmed experiment in creative sound recycling. Dublab director Bryan “Morpho” Younce sent beatmakers Daedalus, Nobody, J.Rocc and Ras G on safari into L.A. thrift stores with orders to make new music out of five finds while the cameras filmed the whole process. The result is a mini-documentary about putting new life into old vinyl. Over 2 hours of footage, music & bonus material."
