Kidkanevil - Basho Basho.

Watch out for this dude - his new album is gonna be off the chain. Hard to put his style into words or draw parallels to some other artists - anything from the Brainfeeder posse to Timbaland might describe it. Thankfully he made a promo mix for his new album with his own material, remixes by the likes of TOKiMONSTA and other stuff. (Via the Lowrider Collective)

TOKiMONSTA - TFC Mix.

There's a new mix to download from Brainfeeder's TOKiMONSTA first lady and premier LA beatsmith. Her sound is a collage of HipHop and electronica with a little bit of everything in between thrown in for good measure. This time it's bit of an odd one, strictly Soul/Funk/HipHop. Good stuff though!

Tokimonsta touring Europe.

Monsters don't get any cuter than this one... Tokimonsta got handpicked by Flying Lotus, which is really all the street cred you need. Her EP is dropping this month and she is touring Europe. Sonic Router interviewed her recently and she made a sweet 30min Mix for them. Check it out

TOKiMONSTA. Brainfeeders First Lady.

"Born and raised in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, TOKiMONSTA (Jennifer Lee) was an unfocused pupil of classical piano. However, she has come to use this background to create vast textural soundscapes by utilizing live instruments, percussion, digital manipulation, and dusty vinyl.
